A Word Problem

So, someone explain this to me. And a bit of forwarning because this reads like a word problem.

Tara had her first show last night. She was gone for just over 4 hours between 5:15 and 9:15. Olin cried for just over 3 1/2 of those hours. And by cry I don't mean fussy I mean CRY.

Today, the day after, Olin slept for about 3 1/2 of the same 4 hours between 5:15 and 9:15 and Daddy wasn't alone.

That's some funky algebraic equation not working in Daddy's favor.

Z Tejas

Tara and I took Olin to Z Tejas. For this pic we wanted him to imitate his favorite movire character. We must have watched Austin Powers a few times while Tara was pregnant because

that is clearly Dr. Evil.....

Father's Day

Olin decided to ring in Father's Day right starting at Midnight. Then he chilled in the vibrating chair, compared hand size to Dad, took a good nap on Dad and went to the pool for a few laps and some water polo with Mom & Dad. Nice little day.

Tara has decided to get artsy as well. Pretty good huh.

Friends

Olin met his first friend this week, Addison. In this picture he is trying to look cool for his new friend Addison.

As memory serves, their conversation went something like this:

Olin: "So, what brings you here?"

Addison: "My Mom was bringing your parents food. Did you read that line out of a book?"

Olin: "We both know I can't read yet but thanks for pointing it out. Uh, you want to borrow my swingy thing? It makes noises and goes fast. But it makes me cry"

The Secret

Olin wanted me to share his secret to being able to sleep like this. You have to know who you are and you have to have someone, in this case "The Stuffed Posse" watching your back. Then it's sweet dreams.

Firecracker!

This video is a bit longer bit it allows Olin to show of his new shirt, his new belly and his range - from smily to interested to mellow to bored. And Wilbur makes a great cameo.

Peeking the window

He loves looking out the window he just hasn't worked out the whole head on neck movement thing yet.

Right on the button

Olin's bellybutton arrived yesterday. Exactly 5 weeks after being born - which is exactly the amount of time it took for his Mom's which is kind of cool.

He has also been waking up only once a need for a snack which is nice. Of course he is an early bird and like to wake up early and stare at the ceiling. He's smiling more everday and is still cuter than the day before.

One month checkup

Olin is one month old and had his checckup today. Everything looks great and he was as content as usual.

He is now 10lbs 9oz and 22 1/4"

Growing fast.

The Future

The day after Olin met his Godbrothers Deuce and Double Down (Double Down is pictured) he ate every hour on the hour until 8 pm. I think he is playing catch up.

For those confused Caleb is Deuce and Luke is Double Down. It's an inside story.
